Registration and participant qualification
1. Must be legal citizen to be eligible.
2. Under-aged participant for age-restricted games require parental consent
form.
3. Identification is required when attending gaming matches.
Check-in criteria
1. The player must bring photo identification for confirmation. Should
any data mismatch, the player will be disqualified.
2. The player must check-in and report at 9.30am on the day of the match,
or will be disqualified.
3. Under-aged player require parental consent form, or will be disqualified.
Tournament regulations
1. Once the match has commenced, any withdraws or time-outs not consented
by the referee will render the player disqualified.
2. The player must wear all match-related identification, and re-apply
if the identification is lost.
3. Participants are prohibited from smoking, drinking, and using alcoholic
beverages and illegal drugs. Violations will be reported to local police
with disqualification.
4. The player must be properly attired and wear designated tournament
articles.
5. The player must obey the referee. A disputed call should be contested
to the referee chairman and not to interfere during the game.
6. To maintain all fairness during matches, the player is prohibited from
any cheating and substitute playing behaviors, or else will be disqualified
or subject to re-match if previously won.
7. All participants will be individually held responsible for exhibiting
proper etiquette. If found creating major disturbance, the referee may
disqualify and deny all appeals.
8. All participants will exhibit good will and not taunt in derogatory
manner. Violators will be giving a warning with disqualification for subsequent
violation.
9. During matches, the player is only allowed to use the game certified
by the committee, any extra program used will be treated as cheating.
10. All participants could prepare own peripherals and related drivers.
If the customized peripherals cause match to stop, the committee reserves
the right to restart or determine final match results.
11. Prior to every match, there will be testing time reserved for players.
If any problem occurs, the player should notify referee immediately to
make necessary adjustments.
12. All participants are prohibited from removing tournament and match
hardware. Violators will be disqualified and reported to proper authorities.
13. The players must wait for referee to make official match record at
the end of the matches before leaving the area.
14. Winning player must attend award ceremony. If found intentionally
absent, the committee reserves the right to cancel all prizes, awards,
and rankings.
15. The committee retains all match records and reserves legal copyright.
Players could download from official website if needed but would need
to be authorized for publishing related contents.
16. Once tournament bracket has been established, participants can not
request for any alternate placements.
17. The participant can not register for identical gaming match more than
once. Violators will be disqualified.
Tournament structure
1. Preliminary rounds to be held in [subject to regional location] in
single elimination.
2. Round-robin elimination goes in effect in the round of 16.
3. The top 4 players in each game competes in the double elimination national
final for each game title
